HOW YOU CAN HELP
Since announcing this initiative, we have been inundated with request from kind folks in the community asking how they can help. At this time, we are not in a position to work with volunteers due to social distancing protocols.
The best way to help is by making a donation to one or both of our partnerS.
ABOUT THE NORTH GROVE
The North Grove is a community hub that offers a dynamic, dignified place for people to learn and connect through family, support, food and friendship. The North Grove has served the community for more than 25 years and the Community Food Centre is one of 13 similar centres across Canada.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
The answer to this questions is simple. The COVID-19 crisis has impacted our world in a way that we have never experienced. We have found ourself in a unique situation where our community needs help and we were fortunate enough to be in a position to step up and give back.
Working with our partners we found a way to leverage what we do best - safely and efficiently preparing a large volume of nutritious meals, while they can focus on what they do best - supporting vulnerable communities by distributing these meals to those most in need.
